Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) and Architect 61 have officially unveiled design plans for Singapore’s New Science Center located in the city’s Jurong Lake District. The contemporary complex is expected to span 52,460 square meters and aims to be the go-to center that promotes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and makes these specialties more accessible. The building is slated to house a series of specialized amenities which will host educational programs and interactive experiences.
