BitTorrent is a well-known peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and torrenting network that has become more decentralised in recent years. Following its acquisition, BitTorrent added various new capabilities, including a dedicated native cryptocurrency token, BTT, which was released in February 2019. BTT was released on TRON's own blockchain, following the TRC-10 standard.
